A New Chapter

This week, a HUGE transition in my life is occurring: I will be starting an internship at a personal training and wellness gym in San Francisco! On Thursday morning, I have an orientation and information session scheduled with 2 other new fitness coaches, followed by a kettle bell clinic. Sound exciting, right?? The exact duration of my internship hasn’t been determined as of yet, but it should last for a couple of months. I will be at the gym 3 times a week, for about 11-12 hours of training, learning and coaching. I’m beyond thrilled to start this new chapter in my life!

I have been fighting a nasty head cold for over a week now, which has left me stuffy and extra sleepy, but I’ve still managed to get out there and run! Just this past Saturday, Taylor introduced me to a new trail in the Presidio, a National Park inside San Francisco. Taylor met me at the Sports Basement, and we headed up in to the hills and trails of the park. It was a stunning day out in the Bay…

…and there were runners galore enjoying the day. The Presidio is quiet and secluded, with tall trees shading the trails, making for a wonderful escape from city life. I will have to go back to explore more!

Happy Tuesday!

    • I parked at the Sport Basement and we ran toward the bridge. There is a turnoff somewhere leading to the trails, but I don’t really remember specifics. Taylor was my guide!! I’m sure if you park over at Sports Basement you could find some good trails to run!
