No, that’s not my sports bra size. As of Saturday, I have finally gotten back to running double digit mileage!
I took a little vacay from longerish runs post-marathon, but with the Nike Women’s 1/2 Marathon only a few weeks away, I needed amp up my training. I haven’t been following a training plan, nor have I run more than 3 times a week, so I’ve decided to make Nike a fun run rather than focus on a PR. I will probably run another 10 miler this upcoming weekend, and POTENTIALLY a 12 miler the week before the race…but I’m more set on finishing and having fun than race-racing. But we will see once I’m in the moment. Can I really suppress that self-competitiveness??
This is my first blog post in awhile, as I have been INCREDIBLY busy this past week. On top of my regular job, I worked at a jiu-jitsu tournament AND I got to pretend like I was a model and walked the runway in 2 fashion shows in the Bay Area. I will write up a post about my experience, but for now here is a sneak peek:
