Preparations for Race Day

Race weekend is finally here! On Sunday, I will be running the San Francisco Marathon-and I can hardly believe it! I do not work today, so I’m going to prepare everything for race day TODAY so tomorrow I can just worry about resting…and eating πŸ™‚

I went shopping last week for a new shirt to wear on race day:


I also stocked up on all of the fuel I will need for the race:


Tonight I will be attending the expo so I can get my bib and have my race clothes prepped and ready to go for Sunday morning.

Tomorrow, my boyfriend and I are headed to San Jose with friends to see the UFC. Thankfully, the show starts in the early afternoon and we will be home in time to wind down and (hopefully) get to bed early-ish for the race.

Then, Sunday morning I will line up to run my second marathon! I’m nervous/anxious/excited/questioning my sanity for wanting to take on another marathon. I don’t feel like I have the slightest idea how I am going to do, but I put the work in so we will see what happens!

I will catch up with everyone after the race!
